Standing at the Edge
FINDING FREEDOM WHERE FEAR & COURAGE MEET
Roshi Joan Halifax, PhD

Explore a radical vision of compassion in this contemporary approach to Buddhist teachings. Zen teacher and social activist Roshi Joan Halifax uses story, koans, science, history, current events, interaction, and meditation practice as a way to open life to a vaster horizon.

Living Fully
INVITING THE WISDOM OF DEATH INTO LIFE
Frank Ostaseski

Frank Ostaseski, a renowned Buddhist teacher and cofounder of the Zen Hospice Project, offers pragmatic tools, real life stories, and ancient wisdom to help you discover how an awareness of death can be a valuable companion on the road to living well.

Rising Strong
WAYS TO STEP UP DURING MOMENTS OF PLANETARY CRISIS
Christiana Figueres

Many of us may feel stressed, upset, or even powerless about recent climate change assessments that describe the destruction humans have caused over the past 50 years. But at moments such as these, Christiana Figueres—a Costa Rican diplomat with 35 years’ experience in policy— explains how we can awaken to the reality of interconnectedness and rise strong to this planetary crisis.

Moral Distress, Resilience & Repair
Jack Saul, PhD

Due to actions committed in our name that violate deeply held moral values, many of us today experience what is called moral distress. Jack Saul, author of Collective Trauma and director of the International Trauma Studies Program, asks, “How do we mobilize our individual and collective resilience to mitigate that distress and promote moral repair?” Explore and find creative ways of addressing current moral challenges in your life, and in the world.

Connecting to Your Heart-Mind
TIBETAN MIND-ENERGYBODY PRACTICES FOR HEALTH & WELL-BEING
Alejandro Chaoul, PhD

Long ago, Tibetan yogis, monks, and nuns developed mind-energy-body practices to address universal human emotions and obstacles so we could connect more deeply to ourselves, and to others. Alejandro Chaoul, a senior teacher with The 3 Doors, an international organization founded by Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche, teaches these timeless, easy-to-learn Tibetan yogic practices.

The MindBody Self
HOW LONGEVITY IS CULTURALLY LEARNED & THE CAUSES OF HEALTH ARE INHERITED
Mario Martinez, PsyD

Growing older is merely the passing of time, whereas aging is what we do with our time. Rather than having to be genetically sentenced with family illnesses or with the aging beliefs we assimilate from our cultures, we have the capacity to change how our genes express disease or good health. Mario Martinez, a clinical neuropsychologist and founder of Biocognitive Science, shows you how changing your mind can help change your life.

Creativity, Spirituality & Making a Buck
David Nichtern

Explore your individual life puzzle through the lens of personal well-being, creative expression, and the development of tangible business skills. Guided by David Nichtern, senior teacher in the Shambhala Buddhist tradition, you learn how to develop clarity, precision, and stability, as well as a friendly and inquisitive attitude in life. Discover ways to incorporate traditional Buddhist meditation practices as the ground for transformation and personal evolution.

Slow Flow Yoga
Monica Ramos Tapia

Learn to create space and find relief from restrictions with Slow Flow Yoga. Guided by the director of the Healing Centre in Costa Rica, this class blends gentle mobility exercises, spinal undulations, and intelligent sequencing to liberate the body and mind. Experience a vinyasa flow, a sprinkle of longer held yin yoga postures, and the exploration of meditation principles, all anchored in the breath. Add a strong message of self-care and mindfulness, and each session can be compared to a journey—an inquiry into the present moment.

The Path to Longevity
REST, RESTORE & REPAIR
Stephan Rechtschaffen, MD

Physician, author, cofounder of Omega, and founder of Blue Spirit, Stephan Rechtschaffen teaches integrative approaches to longevity, time, stress reduction, and well-being. Learn to attain and maintain greater vitality and a longer life, and discover ways to lead a more balanced life while coming deeper into the present moment.

Cultivate Your Life Force
FIND THE EXTRAORDINARY IN THE ORDINARY WITH WATERFALL QIGONG
Steven Michael Pague

The ancient, proven, and easy-to-learn practices of qigong can strengthen immune function, enhance creativity, increase bone density, improve balance, and vitalize your entire being. With Steven Michael Pague, certified instructor in Chinese movement and healing arts and founding Omega staff member, you learn to experience the extraordinary in the ordinary in a Waterfall Qigong style.
